I decided I wanted to exploit all of the capabilities that where possible from my Ten Tec OMNI V so I started a quest to allow it to support PC control. Replacing its stock processor chip with a replacement processor chip offered by N4PY opened up the entire digital world that is offered when a PC controls a radio. For digital communications I utilize DX Labs suite and to date I have been very satisfied with their products. The software I chose to provide remote operations for my OMNI V was W4MQ’s IRBHOST and its companion program WebTransceiver both which can be downloaded from here.

I have attached a PDF document that details how I configured my stations local area network,  local PC and the OMNI V to support remote operations. What is described in the PDF document is what worked for me your mileage may vary.
